Hello there, it's Trippo, from Austin, Texas, USA, and I have been composing & producing my experimental recordings since 1989. I play guitar mostly, but I've been known to play (or at the very least make noises with) whatever I can get my hands on including bass, keyboards, drums, drum programming, midi programming, computer programming, toys, household objects, etc. Sometimes I say strange things and people wonder.
My fifteenth album CAPTAIN SMARTYBRITCHES, a sequel of sorts to AT LAST THE LIE CAN BE TOLD, is almost finished and will be released just in time for the holidaze...but until then, feast your Turkey Day appetite with this killer bird: Desperation Desert, my latest spaghetti western flavored improvisation performed on a $20 cigar box guitar. Find every single Trippo Marx album and more at THE SCREWY BASTARDS RECORD STORE. Thanks for visiting and listening!
I've just made available the complete audio performance for the 2020 ANNIVERSARY DAZE, some of which was not filmed in my most recent video (see above). LISTEN HERE IF YOU DARE!
